Brie Graves might be jobless, living with her brother, and recovering from a painful break-up, but she's determined to enjoy the holidays. Until the end of the year, she's going to do anything she wants to do, no matter how crazy it might be. Soon, she discovers exactly what she wants - to spend a week with a fascinating, sophisticated stranger. It doesn't matter that she only knows his first name or that he's more than 20 years older than her. After this one week, she'll never see him again.
Cyrus Damon has spent his life making money and holding himself to impossibly high standards. Pressured into taking a vacation in Savannah, he's alone and at loose ends, so he lets himself do something he never would have considered otherwise. He gives in to his attraction to a beautiful, free-spirited, and much-too-young woman. But, after the week is over, he'll once more be the man he's always been, left with nothing but the memory of a woman who made him happier than he's ever been.
He has no idea that when he visits his nephew in a charming bed and breakfast called Eden Manor, he'll find the woman he thought he'd left for good.
Christmas at Eden Manor (Audible Audio Edition) Noelle Adams Angela Dawe Books
Loved this book! It is one small piece of the many books that make up the works of the Noelle Adams series. Having read all the Beaufort Brides series and yet to read the Heirs of Damon and the newer Eden Manor I now cannot wait to read the Heirs of Damon first then continue into the rest of the Eden Manor books.Brie Graves is at loose ends after breaking with her boyfriend, Chase and having a bad spell with being out of work as a historic preservationist specializing in stained glass. She has moved in with her older brother Mitchell and his wife Deanna (Beaufort Brides#1). During the month of December she has promised herself to take this time off and do exactly what she wants, when she wants and most recently she has taken to walking the local Savannah art's festival looking at the paintings on display. The one that caught her eye is a simple piece of a fishing pond.
The simple act of sitting at the local cafe to sip coffee while taking the time to admire the painting while people watching lets she notices an interesting older man who seems to enjoy the same painting. Introductions are had and conversation exchanged and the two end up agreeing to spend the week together with no strings attached. It changes both of their lives. For the man in question, it is a breath of fresh air as she has no clues that he is very successful Cyrus Damon (Heirs of Damon series) and she enjoys being with him for just him and not his money or fame.
The agreed timeframe's end arrives and they go their separate ways as agreed for Christmas. But with two who are so in love with each other that cannot be the end especially not with a Christmas miracle.

Christmas at Eden Manor (Audible Audio Edition) Noelle Adams Angela Dawe Books Reviews
I loved this book! I loved the characters and the story of an older man and younger woman. It was a very well written story! I love books by this author and I highly recommend them!!! Can't wait to read more of her books!!!
I LOVED this book. I loved the characters and the wonderful story. What I would say is that as a reader of paperbacks only I would most definitely purchase more of this author's work if it were in paperback format. I know it is much more work but some of her work is not accessible to me. Sad. I would love to see what happens to this couple in the future if a sequel is made available. Wonderful work!!! denise bailey
Being a fan of Noelle Adams work, I've read many of her stories, but this is now my favorite, hands down.
It's very possible it's because this was the excellent conclusion to a wonderful series that started with Seducing the Enemy. After starting the series again from the beginning, it made this story much more fulfilling knowing the backstory of Brie, and especially of Cyrus.
He's an eccentric billionaire, in his 50's, who's spent his life focused on his worldwide businesses. He works, loves his family, and holds himself to impossible standards.
Brie, a much younger woman, is an artist who's made made mistakes falling for selfish men. She has just left another 'mistake', and has completed her last commission.
Cyrus was so sure that any opportunity to find love had slipped by him, so he thought only of work, and family.
Homeless, and jobless, Brie's moved in with her brother. She's promised herself that for Christmas, she will be open to new experiences, and people.
Due to a loving, but firm suggestion from his nephew, Cyrus has taken a vacation, and gone to Savannah to visit his sister for the holidays.
For these two people adrift in the excitement of the holidays, neither expected to find a kindred spirit in each other, when they meet. It's a beautiful love story.
Three of my favorite series meet in this book and provide a satisfying conclusion for all. After getting to know about Cyrus in the Heirs of Damon series and not particularly liking him, it was fascinating to see him as a fully forged character and to understand his actions and beliefs in the past. He meets a beautiful young woman while on holiday and they agree to spend a week together with no expectations of a future.
Brie is at a crossroads in her life, and this week out of time is something she feels she needs. A handsome and charming man twenty years her senior was not someone with whom she expected to feel such a connection, and by the end of their time together she wishes they could continue on and see where the relationship takes them.
This is an emotional story where two characters who shouldn't have much in common find that they are perfect for each other, if only they could both see it. With help from their families (so many enjoyable "cameos" by characters in past books in all 3 series), they finally realize that the obstacles to happiness are not insurmountable. A great story and satisfying conclusion to all three series that I highly recommend.
This is one of the few authors that I have on auto-buy and I always enjoy her stories. As others have said, various previous series characters come together in this short story. Basically the main characters meet over a painting in a holiday art festival in Savannah. The h is about to turn 30 and things in her life haven't turned out quite like she has expected them to. She is currently without work and is living with her brother and his wife. She and the H strike up a conversation about the painting. It's clear he is much older than her but there is something between them. This bumping into each other goes on for a couple of days and then they decide to have a holiday romance but with a fixed end date. I didn't remember the H from "Heirs of Damon" series and that was probably a good thing as he was the awful uncle. The author jogged our memory at some points. Anyway it's a sweet enough story that had me crying quite a bit.
+++Sort of Spoiler+++
Why only 3 stars? I wasn't convinced about the H's insistence that they couldn't be together. It didn't seem terribly in character for this story. Perhaps if I'd gone back and re-read the "Heirs of Damon" series, I might have felt differently. Also those damned stuffed cats just had to make an appearance in this book.
